Simpaticobikes

FAQs

Each Simpatico bike frame is designed in-house in Melbourne, Australia. We use the latest technologies, including 3D printing, casting, and metal injection molding to create elegant frame junctions, head tubes, dropouts, and bottom brackets. Our manufacturing partner in China hand welds each frame to exacting tolerances.

Quality control is completed both with our manufacturing partner and in-house in Melbourne, Australia.

From there, we engage with our team of specialty coating partners and bike mechanics to complete each custom build in Melbourne.

We could, but that would mean our frames are unaffordable for all but a very few individuals. By outsourcing the welding, we can make the largest improvement to the build cost, with very little compromise to the ride quality and finish. We have tried to strike a balance between a quality bike, and an affordable bike.

Simpatico means ‘easy to live with’. That’s our philosophy when we design each bike.

When you buy a bike that will last more than a decade, you want something that can adapt, change, and evolve with how and where you ride.

To ensure your bike can adjust to your needs, and also fit the next groupset upgrade, we use open standards.
